Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for Him.
The Lord has made His salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations. He has remembered His love and His faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music;
make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing,
with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn
—shout for joy before the Lord, the King.
Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy;
let them sing before the Lord, for He comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness and the people with equity.
As we reflect on this Psalm and sing this song this Christmas season, let us praise Him, for He has done marvelous things.
He has given us salvation through the Child in the manger. He has given us Himself.
The Water that quenches our thirst.
The Bread that satisfies our hunger.
The Light that never extinguishes.
The Truth that was, is, and ever will be.
The Life that is life eternal.
The Way, the only Way that leads to the Father.
The Hope that always remains.
The Joy! The Joy of our Salvation.
The joy of knowing Him, to be called a Child of God upon belief.
Beloved Sisters in Christ, let that joy rule your heart and home. May we exude that joy. From the Christmas season to our day-to-day, may that be a sweet fragrance of worship to God. Shout for joy, burst into jubilant singing, Joy to the world, the Lord has come.
The Lord came in the likeness of men. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, took on our sins, and died in our place. Resurrected! Alleluia! And He is now seated at the Right hand of God, interceding for us. He gave us His Spirit. He sanctifies us continuously! And He is coming again. Alleluia!
“The Lord has made His salvation known and revealed His righteousness to the nations” Psalm 98:2.
Yes! Sing it! Shout it! Let the joy of the season be Him, our Lord and Savior.
With His Love and Joy
